IGNITE A War Against You (CD)

by marcs77

It took like some 10 years to have a brand new record out for Orange County, CA crew known to the punk-hardcore world with the moniker IGNITE. But if you're a bit accustomed with what the band is all about, and its work ethics, this pretty huge lapse of time between the former album, the highly praised “Our Darkest Days” out in 2006, and this new opus titled “A War Against You” (out worldwide on January 8th 2016 on Century Media records) cannot come much as real surprise, though I myself must admit I had almost lost my hopes that the foursome fronted by Zoltan “Zoli” Téglás was to release any new full-length albums in the near future or any future.
Was it worth the long wait? Well, if you've been cool enough to go and listen to their first single “Nothing Can Stop Me” up on youtube I guess you would definitely agree with me and shout a big huge loud YES! -and as I did write somewhere on the socials this single isn't even the best tune of the album...
Quality vs the risky routine of releasing new stuff just for the sake of having something out to tour on.
“A War Against You” is 14-track job to be taken in in its entirety and a flawless collection of songs that wouldn't disappoint you at all -especially whether you're into this band.

STRENGTH APPROACH new LP "OVER THE EDGE" out in April

This is the press-release about the new STRENGTH APPROACH full-length, an album we're really
looking forward to from Roma, Italy's longest running hardcore punk band. 20 years on and it doesn't show!!!

It's been a while since you've heard anything from us about upcoming releases, in fact things have been pretty quiet around here with DYW Inc. but we're glad to say that we're coming back with a bang!
We're really proud to announce that DYW006 will be Strength Approach's brand new LP "OVER THE EDGE", released for their 20 years anniversary of hardcore dedication!
The album has been recorded this month in Roma at the Hell Smell studios by Alex Gavazzi, and has been produced by the man Brian "Mitts" Daniels of MADBALL, and after listening to a first rough mix I can guarantee it's an absolute banger!
Our friends at Fast Break Records will be taking care of the CD whilst we'll be doing the vinyl version.
We're aiming for an April 2016 release and if all goes well pre-orders will be launched at the end of February or early March.
Keep your eyes opened for more some previews of the album and some more news about "Over The Edge"!

FORGOTTEN TEARS new music video #WDGAF off their forthcoming album

Milano's metalcore five-piece FORGOTTEN TEARS, who signed with We Are Triumphant records after their stint on To React records (the Italian label that released their 2011's debut "Word To Ends"), has produced and just released the music video for the song “#WDGAF” off the new album "In Spite Of Everything" scheduled to be out on January 29th, 2016.

With this track and video the band pokes fun at metalcore's cliché and codes and as the singer Fausto states
this is the most violent and funnier song of the album, we wanted to address the barren critics and bullshitting going on everyday on the social networks. Nothing really personal at all but just like everybody we've had our fair share of shit from the keyboard's trolls and lions...we just wanted to laugh off to all this, make a fool of ourselves and don't go big on drama

RED FANG recording new album with producer Ross Robinson

Keeping an eye on...RED FANG, who recently celebrated their tenth anniversary with a trio of Northwestern U.S. performances, return to the studio in February, recording the follow-up to Whales & Leeches with famed producer Ross Robinson.

I've never been more excited about making a record in my life,” said drummer John Sherman.“The writing process for this album has been super fun and full of energy and good vibes. And the opportunity to work with Ross Robinson is so crazy - I've got goose bumps just talking about it!!
