UNEARTH joins Century Media Records in Europe

Just delivering a press item from Century Media about a band we've been always keeping an eye on (to say the least) since many years now...

Century Media Records is thrilled to welcome metal veterans UNEARTH to their roster in Europe.

UNEARTH have recently started working on their sixth album with renown producer Mark Lewis (Trivium, DevilDriver, The Black Dahlia Murder, Deicide and many more) which is roughly scheduled for a release later in 2013. It is their sixth album since their inception in 1998. Vocalist Trevor Phipps offers the state of the band and their intentions for this new release in his comments below:

NOISEFUL SILENCE debut album out on To React records

"SHADES OF RED" is the title of the debut full-lenght album NOISEFUL SILENCE recently recorded for
release on To React records.
The record is finally out and it seems like it's already getting some good reviews from the Italian press.
The five-some from Firenze, Italy started out in 2006, recorded some stuff for a record that unfortunately never got the chance to see the light of the day and after some line-up changes and more gigging they finally got all pieces together to start working on the debut you can now finally hear.

Ok guys, the moment has come. We're so excited to announce that "Shades Of Red" is finally OUT NOW! --commented the band on the release

DONE DYING (featuring Mike Hartsfield & Dan O'Mahony) join Reaper Records!

Read on on the latest signing at Reaper records...

Practice makes perfect. Helmed by veterans whose friendships span decades and discographies run on for pages, Orange County's DONE DYING is a prime example of pure old fashioned hardcore crafted in the hands of experts. One listen to their set and it's easy to believe that the lineup of Dan O'Mahony, Mike Hartsfield, Chris Lohman and Kevin Panter boasts mileage in such notable acts as No For An Answer, Carry Nation, Strife, Outspoken, Collateral Damage and Speak 714.
With their previously released debut EP "Dress For Distress," their library of skills and experience is on full display throughout three of the most blistering, back to basics, pure HC tunes to hit vinyl in years.

Now reviewed: RISE ABOVE DEAD, IDLE CLASS, NoM, ONWARD TO OLYMPAS and CAPTAIN PLANET

by marcs77

RISE ABOVE DEAD Stellar Filth (LP)

I could tentatively label this band, hailing from Milan, Italy, post-something (be it post-hardcore, post-metal...) but I guess they'd be happy to label their project post-RISE ABOVE DEAD if really a label has to be cast upon this mammoth of sludgy heaviness and obscure tense atmospheres they deliver through the 7 tracks that make up “STELLAR FILTH”.
This new vinyl, released last June 2012, follows-up to their debut EP “Human Disintegration” dated 2010.
Heavily oppressing vocals and sloooow-doom-ish thick riffages that could have sparked right off the down-tuned guitars of Toni Iommi or "Wino" Weinrich (you know these dudes, right?).

DIY documentary about Polish hc-punk band ZŁODZIEJE ROWERÓW by Studioulica

PUNK ROCK WEDŁUNG ZŁODZIEJE ROWERÓW (Punk Rock According To Złodzieje Rowerów -in Polish language) is a DIY documentary film about ZŁODZIEJE ROWERÓW, Poland based SXE hardcore punk ensemble, who has played a prominent role in the Polish DIY scene since the mid 90s.
I don't speak Polish but outta some researches on the net I've discovered the film has been already premiered in their country last March.
Studioulica the film maker who worked their arses off to get this documentary done and out for everybody to watch informs that they will be more than happy to screen it in other countries or venues where the screening can be done (check the links below to get in touch directly).

I LIKE YOU OKAY + LINEOUT Europe weekend tour kicks off next Thursday

If you guys look at the flyer and the dates on it you could easily think these dudes have a problem with the calendars or, in case your good at history (music-wise), that they just wanna relive the Washington DC Revolution Summer. To me the latter seems more fitting. Isn't it?
It's definitely not the 1985 but two Italian punk hardcore bands I LIKE YOU OKAY (feat. Whales' Island's Turixxx on drums) and LINEOUT are setting out on June the 6th 2013 for a weekender tour that will see them taking their 90's emo & punkrock stuff to 4 vanues located in North Italy, Austria, Germany and Czech Republic.
