THY SOLACE's new tracks are up for free download

THY SOLACE is a recently born Italian post-HC combo that just like many others today doesn't disclose much information on their project (let the music do the talking!).
Going through their fb page I learned they have changed the band monicker more than a few times (and hopefully will stick to this not to further confuse the kids).

They have also recorded three tracks that you can download for free here  http://www.mediafire.com/?hkbjj0l9mhjeq5b

QUESTIONS Life Is A Fight (CD)

I must say it's been a pretty nice surprise when I found this CD from São Paulo's QUESTIONS in my post-box.
Out via Seven Eight Life records in July 2011 this appears to be four-some's last official recording since band's inception in 2001.
“LIFE IS A FIGHT” is good listen for your early morning wake-ups to pump you up at it's best with healthy dose of old-schoolish hardcore urgency and the positivity the guys strive to inject in the hardcore scene.

OVERSEAS interview

Sets to sail

by marcs77

“Not settling for less when you can go further and walk the extra mile”. Let me start my bit of opening-blabbing quoting a line off a reply below by OVERSEAS.
It's true that many bands are happy to settle for less (and this could work whether that's their goal) but I'm in my view all bands that walk the extra mile and work their asses off to break boundaries (being them geographic, cultural, whatever...), because of their passion and driven by heart, are the ones that make the plus in the hardcore punk music scene. There's nothing here about money and the easy fame but it's all about staying together, sharing experiences, playing the music you love and bring it to as many people as possible.

On this much talked about day the five-some played a scorching and sweat-drenched release show in Lodi, at CLAM, to present at it's best the new 3-track effort (by the way, one of the best show I've attended to as of late).

TOXIC TAPE starting out to take the HC tape scene by storm

Those like me who are no longer teens, nor in their twenties, got the chance to experience first hand the rise, and the dead of "new" sound recording formats. In the mainstream market cassette tape and vinyls got progressively replaced by CDs (somebody gave it a try with minidisc too, do you remember this?) and coming to more recent times the arrival of digital music put in a difficult position the CD format which according to some it's gonna be the next one to die (only time will tell...).
