FOR TODAY call it quits, announce final Euro tour

Surely some of you remember FOR TODAY from the times and releases when the guys were on Facedown records. Here some latest news from Nuclear Blast headquarters, which signed them last year and released the album "Wake"...

Iowa-based powerhouse, FOR TODAY have called it quits earlier this month and have now announced their final European tour.

Stated the band: "After over 11 years as a band, 6 full length albums and 1 EP, we have decided to make 2016 the last year of FOR TODAY. When we started this band in 2005, we never imagined that our music would make it out of Sioux City, Iowa, let alone take us all around the world multiple times. Our lives have been hugely impacted by the time we've spent making music and touring. We met our wives, had kids and moved to different states because of FOR TODAY.

-(16)- "Landloper", song off the new record "Lifespan Of A Moth out now via Relapse records

Sludge mongers -(16)- are back...and you'll soon realize this...definitely...

The sludge veterans in -(16)- are pleased to share "Landloper," the latest single from their full-length "Lifespan Of A Moth" released yesterday July 15th 2016  via Relapse records.

-(16)-'s Cris Jerue: "The song 'Landloper' is a tension-filled little ditty that deals with the inner craving to quit everything and live off the grid. Or take up residence on a blanket at the beach. Or subsist in the doorway of a bank. It doesn't fucking matter. Just get yourself anywhere else as soon as possible and become a free, unfettered hominid before time runs out. It's easily the most negative, positivistic song on the record."
