INCARNATED's 1993 to 1999 demos comp "Choir Of The Dead" - Swedish death metal

Sweden's Grind to Death records released on CD a compilation featuring all four demo tapes distributed between 1993 and 1999 by Swedish death metal combo INCARNATED (not to be confused with Polish three-piece that disbanded in 2020).

You're likely to know the genre and the Entombed, Dismember, Grave... sound, here, although it's nothing very ground-breaking, you'll find some old-school stuff for you then.

Why? well, the record was released last year in March 2020, right in the distressing, convulsed "very first" phase of Covid-19 pandemic when infection rate in my country was (was it that really recorded and elaborated properly?) sky-rocketing on a daily basis and death was bashing elderly and not-so-old but frigile people.

"Dopo Un Lungo Silenzio" (it took them 5 years to follow-up to their first s/t release) is the latest 6-track record from Jesi, Italia, VOID 00, a combo devoted to the most obscure heavy doomy droony sounds that will take you deep down to and lost into the most profound abysses of earth and the universe all.

If you, like me, are into metallic hardcore from the early '00s Cincinnati, Ohio BALL OF LIGHT debut "Flux" is an album you ought to check out.

The trio delivers their own blend of tense aggressive metallic metal hardcore with noisy elements and "melodic" hooks that somehow remind me also of Helmet or alternative rock metal from 90's -the title track made me think to Smashing Pumpkins, no idea where this weird connection came from, really...but that's so...

The album is out through Rad Girlfriend Records.
