FORESEEN "Structural Oppression" 7" out

Helsinki, SE's FORESEEN, a thrash core combo that has a hella fun thrashing all around, released earlier in
January a new 2-track 7" vinyl titled "Structural Oppression" available via Take It Back records (TIB has only 20 copies left) and Collision records.
The tree-some has been around a few years and play stuff bursting out off the 80's. "Structural Oppression" boasts oldschoolish cover-artwork and recordings with social counscious lyrics.

Got this off Balkan HC Unity. Old School HC MIDDLE FINGER hails from Ladovica, South Serbia and released on March the 14th a 3-track EP entitled "THC Punk".
We dug the www for additional info but unluckily we didn't manage to find more about this outfit (they're too punk for us).
You can try and get in touch with below fb link (the band either doesn't have its own page yet or they just don't care having one at all).

AUGUST BURNS RED new album's in studio photo report

“Metalcore is not an interesting genre at this point,” remarks August Burns Red guitarist JB Brubaker. I'm ripping this quote right off AP magazine - ABR studio report.
This entry was featured on AP's website on March the 26th and earlier on today AUGUST BURNS RED announced that they are currently going through the mixing of their yet untitled new album and follow-up to 2011's "Leveler".

The new album is coming out this year so we'll see what the guys have been packing up and what new influences and musical colours they will have added to their trade mark metalcorish palette.
We really can't wait for the first new track surfacing the web.

And now a studio photo report with commentaries taken off band's FB:

THE STATIC AGE / FEATURING YOURSELF 7" (digital) split out on April 19th. 2013

THE STATIC AGE (Chicago, IL) and FEATURING YOURSELF (Kiel, Germany) have teamed up to release a split single (7" / download) featuring TSA's new track "Mistakes Worth Making" (as a followup to their 2012 release "Mercies") and FY's "Ghosts" (as a followup to their 2012 release "Inner Underground"). The pairing marks a natural fit between kindred spirits -- both bands pulling influence from the idealistic side of the punk scene and the last few decades of alternative music.
The release also includes download-only co-cover b-sides (The Static Age takes on FY's "Abyss" and
Featuring Yourself tackles TSA's "Eulogy") and is in conjunction with the pair's tour of a handful of European countries (Germany/Austria/Slovenia/Switzerland) during April and May 2013.

The release date is April, 19 and the records is out via Highwires / Flix Records + Cargo Records (G/S/A only!).

Do you care about any famed bands pushing some less familiar names? Shai Hulud are pushing this band and if you listen to these guys you'll understand yourselves that AFTER THE FALL doesn't need any famed sponsorship whatsoever. The younger of you may not remember or even have heard of HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS, a pop punk post-HC rock combo hailing from Dayton, Ohio. But those who were listening to the genre in mid 00's are surely familiar with the name and with two releases like “The Silence In Black And White” and “If You Only Were Lonely” which brought to these guys their fair share of deserved notoriety and pushed their name top of the rankings of USA charts.
The death of founder member Casey Calver (guitar/screams) on tour at age of 26 and a legal battle with their back then label Victory records took the five-piece away off the spotlights.
2013, they're done with the recording of the new album (scheduled for a Summer release) and if you head over to their official website today you'll find a countdown timer to the day the new site will be up (it just a few hours over 2 days).

The guys from Ohio are already in studio recording the follow-up to the record I'm gonna review here.
"HOPE" is HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS album no.6 (don't consider the info at wiki since this time they are really outdated).
The 8-track MCD "Hope", released last year, follows-up to "Hate" and keeps a trait d'union with the former starting from the opening track "There Was A Kid pt.2".

RUINED FAMILIES New LP "Blank Language" out in March 2013 on Adagio 830

We've been hearing much of Greece in the recent times (perhaps not as much) but the Ellenic country keeps on being a breeding ground for HC-punk bands. Plenty of reasons to unleash all their anger and common views for a more sustainable world.
Athens' based RUINED FAMILIES are out with a new LP entitled "Blank Language" on March the 11th.
Wrecking post-HC with much of a low-end grind feel to it (a sound so dirty that reminds of Napalm Death's Scum).
"Blank Language" follows-up to the "Untitled" 7" out in 2012.

Stream the whole LP here
