However, among the HC-punk scene the vinyl never actually died, as sentenced by media, thanks to many passionate small/bigger labels still printing 7" or 12" wax and so the cassette tape didn't either.
The years of tape trading are definitely gone and the cassette players are rare shit today but it is a fact that the cassette tape is still alive and one of the newest DIY labels working their asses off to keep the format kicking is TOXIC TAPE records.
The Bad Hersfeld, Germany, based label started out last October to release the debut work of Marisolv (ex memberd of Bury My Sins) and has now out other two tapes: a 15-band compilation titled "What's So Bad About Hersfeld?" (25 pcs) and F.O.D. "Push It To The Limit" 2011's demo.
Grab your tape and head over to their bandcamp to check out and download some of their stuff and read their blog for the latest news and drop a comment to show them some love.
