SICK OF IT ALL has started the writing process for their new studio album

SICK OF IT ALL fans all over the world will be frigging happy to learn that their favourite HC-punk band is currently holed up in the recording studio. Read on the press item from Century media...

New York Hardcore legends SICK OF IT ALL have begun writing songs for their new album which is tentatively scheduled for release this fall via Century Media Records. Once again the band will be teaming up with Tue Madsen for what they describe as a “straight up old school New York Hardcore record”.
In the meantime, while working on the follow up to their last studio album “Based On A True Story”, SICK OF IT ALL announced that they will be playing Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ on March 28th and United Blood in Richmond, VA on March 29th. The band will also be returning to Europe in July and August for a festival run.

COMEBACK KID new album out on March the 4th via Victory records / Distort rec.

Heavy good news for everybody who was waiting to know the latest details about the brand new album from Winnipeg, Canada's COMEBACK KID.

The fifth full-length out since band's inception in 2000 is entitled "Die Knowing" and it follows-up to 2010's "Symptons+Cures".

The new record is set to hit store and be available digitally on March 4th on Victory records (worldwide) and Distort (Canada).

TAKE OFFENCE European tour scheduled this Spring

Chula Vista, CA hardcore ensamble TAKE OFFENCE are gonna tour Europe on their LP "United States Of Mind", their sophomore and ass kicking album released last September 2013 on Reaper records (one of the 2013's records that we loved).

The tour kicks off in Germany on April the 4th and will see the quintet hit Russia for two dates before they wrap it up in Finland on May the 5th 2014. On the road with Take Offence are Cold Stare, World Eater and New Morality.

FORGOTTEN TEARS new song, new video and Mexico tour

Milan, Italy modern metaller FORGOTTEN TEARS  recorded a brand new song that follows-up to the
material included in their debut full-length album "Words To End", released in 2011 via To React records.
"Breath New Life" is the title of the new track for which the guys shot a video clip currently circulating via youtube.

Following the internet release of the new song the five-some had already scheduled a tour through Mexico with  Everyone likes Cathleen but they have had to re-schedule it in May for reasons out of their control -go check out their FB page to know the details about the re-scheduled dates.

BLEEDER RESISTOR, The complete collection available through Basement rec.'s bandcamp

I personally never heard of BLEEDER RESISTOR, a short-lived hardcore-punk band from Washington

D.C. that was around in 2005 when they got to be one of the very first signings of Basement records -on the label Bleeder Resistor released their EP entitled "Sixteen".

9 years later Basement records put together a 13-track digital collection including the afore mentioned EP plus an earlier EP.

Some good passionate West Coast HC sounds mixed with a more melodical punk rock influences.

ANTI-FLAG interview

Indie sux, hardline sux, emo sux, you sux and what about punk rock?

The year that recently came to its close saw ANTI-FLAG celebrating 20 years around as a band and on June the 18th, the day this interview happened, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, punk rockers were a few days into a 6 weeks tour and about to play a gig with Bad Religion (out on the “True North” tour) in Milan, Italy at Alcatraz (opening were The Manges from Italy).
Anti-Flag last full-length album “The General Strike” was released on March the 20th 2012 but Pat Thetic (drums and founding member) has been more than happy to do an interview with us and chat about his band, punk rock, activism before the show.
Moving out of comfty air-conditioned venue to the mid afternoon summer sunlight, because of the noisy sound check going on, we sit-squatted right before a nearby run down store on a pretty traffic clogged Milan's street and recorded what you're gonna read.

BURY TOMORROW stream brand new track off upcoming album

Hampshire metallers, BURY TOMORROW, are now streaming their brand new track, 'Watcher', on

YouTube. The track, which got an exclusive first play on Monday evenings Radio 1 Rock Show, is taken from their forthcoming third album, entitled ‘Runes’, set to be released on May 30th, 2014 on Nuclear Blast Records.

"We felt this song gave the best representation of the sound we have gone for with Runes. Watcher shows our heavy and melodic side really well and we were stoked to show the world some new riffs," says frontman, Daniel Winter-Bates. "The response so far has been beyond our expectations, people seem to have completely got what we were going for musically and lyrically. We can't wait to release an official single but for now this is a little taster. Runes is the album we have always wanted to make and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Progressing from (2012’s) ‘Union of Crowns’, we've tried to capture our favourite era of metalcore whilst blending the nuances of what make the genre so great today. It's a faster, more aggressive album, but it still sounds like us, we couldn't be prouder of it!”

The band can also reveal a tour of intiminate venues around the UK in support of the album’s release.

xMORETHANINKx released the volume #3 all hardcore punk compilation featuring 44 tracks from bands that are keeping the hardcore punk alive all over the globe. The likes of Wisdom In Chain, Strength Approach, WolfxDown, xRepentancex, The Smashrooms, No Second Chance, xGhost Shipx and My Turn are just a very few names we are more familiar with and we want to mention the guys in Insurrection who play a cover by The Cranberries chart-breaking hit "Zombie".

ROTTING OUT are hitting Europe this spring

Los Angeles based hardcore/punk band Rotting Out has announced they’ll be heading to Europe this spring
for a tour which will include an appearance at this year’s Groezrock Festival in Belgium.

Rotting Out is currently on tour in support of their latest album The Wrong Way (that you can stream here below), which was released by Pure Noise Records in December. The band’s new record recalls the youthful heyday of Southern California punk legends Suicidal Tendencies and Pennywise while giving a gritty shot of unadulterated angst and aggression to Los Angeles’ burgeoning hardcore scene with neck snapping speed and reckless abandon on tracks like “No Clue.”

I AM THE AVALANCHE announce new album "Wolverines" out March 18th on Rude Records

Rude Records is excited to announce the new album from New York City-based rock band I AM THE

AVALANCHE. Titled Wolverines, the new full-length was produced and engineered by the band’s drummer Brett “The Ratt” Romnes at The Barber Shop Studios in Lake Hopatcong, NJ and mixed by Will Yip. Encompassing ten songs full of heart, ferocity, relentless passion and, of course, struggle, Wolverines follows the band’s sophomore album, the acclaimed Avalanche United (2011), and will be released in stores and online on Tuesday, March 18.

Currently, Esquire.com is premiering the first track from Wolverines titled “The Shape I’m In,” whose lyrics, penned by singer Vinnie Caruana, were inspired by a serious physical injury he sustained last year while on tour, and the physical and emotional pain he had to grapple with and overcome. BORN LOW new 7" album on Reaper records

BORN LOW recorded a new 6-track 7" EP and this marks the third relase out from the Albany, New York
homed five-some formed in 2008.
"Refuse To Beg" this is the title of the record out on Reaper records.

GSR Music will be releasing the new ALL FOR NOTHING full-length record

ALL FOR NOTHING, female fronted hardcore quintet from Rotterdam, The Netherlands is pretty much at
the last stages of the recording process for the new full-length album tentatively scheduled for a late April 2014 release.

LIFE FOR A LIFE signs with Innerstrength records

Innerstrength Records has signed hardcore band LIFE FOR A LIFE from Palmdale, CA.

Formed in 2010, Life For A Life has played shows with almost any well known hardcore act you could think of. They've released two EPs, "The Otherside" and "Identity".
"The Otherside" was released last December 2013 through Outlast Records and "Identity", dated May 2012, was self-released in the U.S. and released on CD in Japan through Interact Records.

2014 will see the release of a CD/EP and 7" through Innerstrength Records.

JAGGED VISION just released their debut full-length on Retro Futurist records

Retro Futurist records (imprint under which the guys of Kylesa hide) just released their second record ever.
Following up to the release of Sierra's Pslip last November 2013 they have now out the debut full-length record by Stavanger, Norway hardcore stoner sludge combo JAGGED VISION.
The 10-track album is titled "Harvest Earth" and was recorded at the Jam Room Recording Studio by Phillip Cope (Kylesa) and Jay Matheson between June 4-19, 2012 and produced by Phillip Cope.

Jagged Vision will join Kylesa on their forthcoming European tour which kicks off on Janaury the 10th in Prague, CZ to finish in Athens, Greece on 14 February 2014.

FORGED PROMOTIONS 47-band compilation out

Mannheim based FORGED PROMOTIONS decided to wrap the 2013 up with the their very first release,

a digital 47-band compilation featuring a few bands we already know about like Bitter Verses, Mind Plague, WolfxDown, Drowning In Preconception, Hempty Handed, ClearxPath and many others which is worth checking out.

There's definitely stuff for everybody into hardcore, hardcore punk and metalcore.
The compilation is up for free download right off Forged Promotions bandcamp page but it's not clear whether it will have a physical follow as suggested by the promo banner.
