Punk rock ensemble SUBWASTE just toured Europe with USA's Stabbed In Back -a fivesome hailing from Albuquerque, NM- but since I really couldn't make it to attend any of the three shows the guys played in Italy, the first plan was to do an email interview to be up before the tour kicked off. You know, things go as they go and this interview was replied by Tobbe (vocals and guitar) only when back home. So, meanwhile the tour is off and the new split that sees Subwaste and Stabbed In Back share the 7” wax is out via Warbird entertainment.

STRIFE's "TORN APART" new track off upcoming new album

It's been circulating since a few days but now 6131 records officially posted a clip of the song "Torn Apart" off the new STRIFE record "Withness A Rebirt" out on 6th November.
This is the first new song we got to hear from the Los Angeles combo in 11 years so check this clip out.

PUNK & DISORDERLY 2013 headliner confirmed

PUNK & DISORDERLY organizers (Mad Tourbooking) announced that next year headliner is gonna be England's street punk legend COCK SPARRER.
The infamous Berlin's punk festival will take place from 12th to 14th of April 2013 at ASTRA. Next year's is gonna be the 14th edition of this punk festival held for the first time in 2000 at Berlin's Arena.
Cock Sparrer, who celebrate their 40th birthday this year, are no new to the festival goers since the band have healined the 2009 and 2011 editions.

Bridge9 joins forces with Chad Gilbert's Violently Happy records

Bridge Nine Records is excited to announce a partnership with New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert's Violently Happy Records. This new Bridge Nine imprint will be releasing albums on CD, vinyl, digital formats and more, with their first release together being a new EP from the band Candy Hearts on November 6th. Chad Gilbert had this to say:

LYON ESTATES "Come Mille Altre Volte" official video

You can now watch the video that Bologna, Italy LYON ESTATES (featuring ex-members of Ingegno, Dissonanza and The Guilt Show) has shot for the track "Come Mille Altre Volte". This song is title track off band's new 7" and second record.
The clip packs some live footage capturing the band up on the stage at this year Hardcore Contamination fest -the fifth editon of the hardcore festival held in Trento.

A WEEK OF SUNDAYS "Set Sail For The Stars" official video clip

In between spending time on tour this Summer, reharsing and living everyday life, Würzburg based pop punkers A WEEK OF SUNDAYS shot a video clip for the song "Set Sail For The Stars" taken off their S/T 4-track EP released via Acuity.Music last April.
The video was directed by Mike Meyer (www.mikemeyer-photography.de) and edited by Daniel Lindner (www.chilicake.de).

They guys had announced this many times, even before "Athena" was officially out.

DEAD SWANS called it a day

The guys in DEAD SWANS made it official, their band is no more.
Brighton's hardcore combo released their last EP "Anxiety & Everything Else" in February via Bridge 9 records.
Formed in 2006, the fivesome released a demo, the "Southern Blue" EP, and a split 7” with Architects before signing with Bridge 9 that released their debut full-length "Sleepwalkers".

They are playing one of their final shows in their home town on Oct.28th. The other two shows will be held in Glasgow and Leeds though no dates has been confirmed yet.

RAINDANCE joins Animal Style records

RAINDANCE signed with Animal Style records and have some news for you...

We couldn't be more excited to welcome New England hardcore outfit RAINDANCE to the label. On October 30 we are set to release the band’s ‘New Blood’ digitally, and on vinyl as a 1-sided 12" limited to 500 copies (100 red, 200 pink, 200 purple).

RED FANG Fall UK/Euro tour

Relapse's heavy rockers RED FANG, who released their sophomore album, and debut on Relapse records, "Murder The Mountains" in 2011, announced a new UK/Euro tour this fall.
If my mind doesn't play tricks the guys already crossed the ocean two times this year. But sadly the dates announced thus far do not include Italy.

BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE have premiered a video clip for their song “The Time Bender”

BECOMING THE ARCHETYPE have premiered a video clip of the track "The Time Bender" off their fifth record since band's inception in 1999 -back then the band was known under another monicker -The Remnant.
The Christian progressive-death-metal combo changed the name to the current one before joining Solid State records.
Their latest offering, and follow-up to 2011's "Celestial Completion", "I AM" hit stores yesterday via Solid State records

STRIFE have the part #1 of new album documentary up

 STRIFE new album "Witness A Rebirth" will be out through 6131 records and hit stores this fall.

The Los Angeles based band are documenting the recordings of  their fourth album, and follow-up to 2001's "Angermeans", and the episode 1 of a 3 part documentary titled "The Sao Paulo Sessions" is now up for you to watch.

There are lotta rumours pestering the www about who's gonna handle the mic in SHAI HULUD since their more recent singer Mike Moynihan quit the band before the Euro tour with Reign Supreme this summer -the band cancelled the tour due to this.
Their long time friend and former singer Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory) recorded vocals on band's follow-up to 2008's "Misanthropy Pure" scheduled for release in 2013.

At the time you will read these lines, the Rotterdam-based HC-band All For Nothing will be on stage somewhere in South East Asia, spreading their energetic hardcore to the Southern hemisphere, in a run through Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines, Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur. 

Years have passed since they started playing together in 2002, but after thousands of gigs sharing the stage with the best names of the international hardcore, punk and metal scene, AFN are still down-to-earth guys, wishful to play around as much as they can.

HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS to tour UK/Europe this fall

Hawthorne Heights will bring their Autumn of Hope Tour to the UK/Europe this fall. Dates kick off September 19 and run through October 28. Maker, The Elijah, Kyoto Drive, Burn The Fleet and Lower Lands will each support on select dates.

AMERICAN WEREWOLVES new album out in Feb.2013

Claveland, Ohio's AMERICAN WEREWOLVES entered Russian Recording LLC on Saturday (9/9/2012) to begin recording their 6th full-length and follow up to (2010) "Wanderers Forever" -released on Warbird Entertainment.
The new album hits stores in February 2013 via Warbird Entertainment.

LE FAUCI recorded debut EP

Milan based LE FAUCI recorded their debut 3-track EP earlier this summer.
The fivepiece started out in 2011 as the brainchild of musicians who have been very active, in the recent years, among the Milan HC-punk scene behind monikers like Mach 5, In Berid So Cold, For I Am Blind, Water Tower.

REBELS’ BAY “Wild Hearts and Broken Bones” Official Clip

Riva del Garda, Italy punk rock outfit REBELS' BAY have the debut EP scheduled for release this month through Indelirium records.
The album is entitled "Carry On" and its release will be followed-up with the band's third Euro tour.

They guys shot an official clip of the song "Wild Hearts And Broken Bones" directed by Davide Cilloni -Eklipse design that you can watch here.

FINAL PRAYER Germany tour trailer up now

Berlin's FINAL PRAYER are gonna hit the road with labelmates Empowerment for a stint through Germany (the guys are playing a gig in Switzerland too).
The tour kicks off on Sept. 28th.

LAST DAY BEFORE HOLIDAY sophomore album out now on Indelirium records

Italy's pop punkers LAST DAY BEFORE HOLIDAY, one of the latest signings among the Indelirium records family, released their sophomore full-length on Aug.10th. The 12 tracks effort, which follows-up to 2009's "Start living your life" is titled "The Way Out".

NEUROSIS new record out in October

Oakland's NEUROSIS has a new record hitting stores, webstores and distro tables on October through the band’s own Neurot Recordings, in Germany October 26th, in the rest of Europe October 29th, and in North America on October 30th, with their cohorts at previous label home Relapse Records confirmed to handle the vinyl release of the album.

FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER original line-up reunites - New album out in October

Do you guys remember of FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER?
The emocore fivesome outta Pompano Beach, Florida reunites the original line-up featuring the first singer Chris Carrabba (who had already announced to be leaving the band to focus on another project -Dashboard Confessional- when FDF were going to record their debut record "The Moon Is Down" -Chris joined the band in the studio to record vocals on this record), out in 2001 via Tooth And Nail records.

TERROR 10th Years Euro tour in November

Los Angeles TERROR celebrate this year their tenth birthday and to celebrate this special landmark at it's best the guys will tour Europe with No Turning Back in November.
A new album is on our way via Century media records though an official release date is still to be announced.
The follow-up to 2010's Keeper Of The Faith will be titled "Live By The Code" or so is rumoured on the net.

The WE RIDE's new record is gonna be available on Farewell records this month. ON THE EDGE follows-up to band's debut "Directions" dated 2010.
The female-fronted fivesome hailing from Vigo, Spain formed in 2009 and started playing gigs and touring Europe since the very beginning -the release of a demo dates on the same year the guys started out.

Destroy Your World Inc. to release their first compilation soon

"BACK ON MAP Vol. #1" is a compilation featuring 21 hardcore bands that is gonna be released soon via DESTROY YOUR WOLRD INC. records.
The label has been founded last August as a hardcore collective in Rome from younger and older kids sharing their passion for hardcore punk music and its worldwide scene.
You'll get the likes of Strength Approach, Pay Back, Traces Of You, Looked UP, Fear The Sirens and Whales Island to name but a few.

New REMISSION 7" out through Amendment rec.

Amendment record (Chile) will be releasing a new 7" from Santiago based old-school HC quartet REMISSION.
The yet untitled vinyl, scheduled for release this November, will include two new tracks and anticipate the release of the new LP out on React! records.

xCURRAHEEx to play last show on 21st Sept.

Manchester's straightedge combo XCURRAHEEX called it a day after six years.
The foursome went through very difficult moments after their guitarist quit  the band in 2010 but they managed to steer the wheel back on the track again and released another 7" vinyl "Back On Track" in 2011, a 3-way split with Truth Inside and Unforce in 2012 and hit on the road again tour Europe with WolfxDown end of last year.
The guys are gonna play a final show in Leeds (@ the Well) this 21st September.

Cologne's female fronted metal-death-core outfit FOR ALL THIS BLOODSHED broke up.

Here band's official word:

"After 3 years, 3 CDs, countless shows, many ups and many downs we're closing the chapter "For all this Bloodshed".
We're unable to sacrifice enough time and passion the band and you guys deserve.
What saddens us the most ist the fact that we won't be able to say goodbye, there won't be a final show.

WHALES ISLAND sign with No Panic! records - New 7" vinyl out soon

Following the news about their forthcoming Eurotour we have another piece regarding Palermo's WHALES ISLAND. The guys signed with No Panic! records.

The Jena, Germany based label will be releasing band's new 7" vinyl entitled "Crossroads" and featured Whales Island in their No Panic! compilation vol.1 with the song "Over The Reef".

WAITING FOR BETTER DAYS Those Who Believe To Be Left Alone (CD)

How many great bands come from Italy? The 80's of Negazione, Raw Power and Indigesti are long gone but the Italian peninsula has never been ungenerous of great, good and definitely passionate hardcore punk outfits. The song screamed in Italian are not longer the trade mark of all punk things Italian-eshe since many bands seem to feel better communicating using an “universal” language but, quoting Negazione, “the true spirit leaves on”.
Closed this short digression I'm gonna review the new effort, and first full-length, from this quintet hailing from Bari, South Italy.
