PENNYWISE reunites with Jim Lindberg

Did you get the chance to check out PENNYWISE fronted by Ignition's Zoli? I din't but I really can't picture  Pennywise without Jim.
Well, good news!, after the Ermosa Beach based combo was forced to cancel dates here in Europe due to Zoli's back-pain issues and switch themselves on standby-mode until the singer fully recovered Pennywise recently released a pretty surprising announcement saying that Jim Lindberg is back on board. Read on the full statement.

October 30, 2012 – Los Angeles, CA - After three years, Southern California’s raucous punk heroes Pennywise are pleased to announce the return of the band’s original vocalist, Jim Lindberg. Jim and Fletcher appeared on the world famous KROQ with Kevin and Bean Monday morning to announce that Jim will be returning to the band. The band was also happy to announce they will be celebrating Jim’s return with a show at the Palladium in Los Angeles, CA on January 18th, 2013. Tickets for this special show will be on sale Friday, November 2nd.

The band had this to say about Lindberg’s return, "We're happy to announce that Jim is rejoining Pennywise and we're all looking forward to playing music together again. We're going to celebrate our re-union with a show at the Hollywood Palladium January 18th to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pennywise for our friends and fans in L.A."

Formed in the South Bay of Los Angeles, a neighborhood with a rich punk rock history, Pennywise began in 1988. The band would go on to amass an international following through relentless touring and a melodic high energy sound merging melodic surf punk, blistering hardcore and the classic punk of their youth. The group has solidified their place in punk history with songs like the raging “F*** Authority,” “Alien” and the band’s now legendary ode to brotherhood and departed friends “Bro Hymn.”
