LAG WAGON are in the studio recording the new album

During an interview we did in the Summer 2012 San Francisco's skate-melodic-punk icons LAG WAGON left us stating, among the laughs, that whether the world was not gonna end in December 21th that year (remember the Mayan prophecy, right?) there would be a new album coming out in 2013.
Well, the World didn't end and 2013 drew to a close too but beside some rumours circulating the net and interviews statements the thing has remained on a  "work-in-progress" mode, nothing more.
But if you go  check out these days Lag Wagon official fb page you'll learn the five-piece finished with the writing of the material and is currently holed up in the Blasting Room Ft. Collins, CO studio with the duo Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore at the helm.

The new record will be the third lenghty effort since band hiatus in 2000 and the follow-up to 2008's EP "I Think My Older Brother Used to Listen to Lagwagon", and according to interviews singer Joy Cape (current line-up is completed by Chris Flippin – guitar Joe Raposo – bass Chris Rest and Dave Raun – drums) did last year, the new yet untitled full-length, would, as always, be out on their longtime record label and home Fat Wreck Chords.

Waiting for the official release date to be announced, new songs premiered or leaked we have collected and are posting here below a few in studio pictures for those who don't wanna go and check themeselves the Lag Wagon's pages.

Stay tuned for the official press from Fat Wreck Chords headquarters on the release date and all things that will come along.
We here at gotanerve-zine camp, like you, can't really wait for this record to be finally out.
